About the Class

This is a Full Body Blitz Workout. Sessions build on the body’s core strength and fitness through cardio fitness drills and easy to learn mitt and bag work combos. These cardio sessions incorporate knowledge and understanding from many different martial arts disciplines. Instructors will keep you motivated and focused, assisting you every step of the way. Set your Personal Fitness Goals and set yourself up for success and achievement.

Each cardio session offers a chance to work on a different part of the body. It’s a dynamic spin on a regular gym workout. We use different parts of the dojo, from our large matted area, consistent use of mitt and bag work combos plus training items such as weighted medicine balls. 

Cardio Defence Classes are in a group setting, ranging from teens and young adults through to 40 years and above. Classes are made to be safe and friendly. Instructors understand everyone has different levels of fitness and will make alternative adjustments for injury or any medical concerns. Classes incorporate stretching for flexibility and reduced risk of injury.
